It kept getting cooler as the day progressed. Much cooler than race days forcast. I could tell i was a bit lean but decided to leave it at that....

Thanks man.. LOL.

It is lean in those passes. Second being better. But the weather for racday was calling for 20 degrees warmer than it was when testing. I did end up putting a thinner needle in and its better.

Next race is on Oct 28

Well, i only got in 4 passes but the ole Skeedr got us down the crusty 1/8th with a 9.5,s pass. 9,s was my goal for the year and that was no problem this round. New Peace Pipe, new fuel, and a diet (for the scoot  ), along with cool temps and windy weather all helped.

None of my passes were over 9.6 (not a good 60ft IMO). All passes were against ide say a 10-15MPH wind. A brisk one at that! I no Skeedr has more yet.

Best pass

60ft 1.9
1/8th ET 9.55
@ 65 MPH

Thank you 190mech :D !!!

Got this CPI Miskito the other day for a good price. Hard to pass up considering all the parts around here. That and Skeedr was more than happy to see a long lost brother.

Look, they are reunited Image ;)

As it was when i brought it home. :-/ neglected :'(

I have a complete like new set of matching blue plastics to put on it after everything else has been gone through. I plan on leaving totally stock in appearance. Good tires, and a stroker mina with a sleeper 100cc exhaust, 21mm Dello S6 intake, V-Force block with CF .30mm/.40mm reeds. Adjustable timing via stator plate, aluminum flywheel and aftermarket CDI.

I will start another build thread of course asap. Image

Welcome newbie CPI Miskito !

Are those 10" rims or is it just a trick of the tyre profile making them look that size than 12"

Doing the same myself re having a "bro CPI Miskito" to complement my racer.
Got the street registerd one to legally street test the race engine.

Cheers,
Rob

putting them away in a box?

What?!?

Put them in a glass trophy case in the garage. Mine is on a shelf where everyone can see it. :)

Not much of an update.. I did get a new tire mounted on the rear. I really like it! Bites much better with heat than the ole radial did, and gets that header up and away from the ground. Its gotta couple dings that need froze back out.

Last burn with the old one.

First test with this one about put me on the other side of the road. Did a burnout and watched the sticker shred and fly (always wanted to do that on a scoot)... A couple tire revolutions later it was trying to hook while i was crossed up sideways still.

Anxious to see what it does in the 1/4 before any changes.. After that its getting a shorter final drive. It was too short with the 13:55 stock ratio, and now a bit too tall with 10:15. Im thinking a mid 11 ratio would be the ticket with this engine and my 115lb son piloting. Should streak well into the 8,s. We are hoping?..
