I'm planning on attending with Cloud 9. We'll see how it goes.

I see several top runs w/ Cloud9. I see LOADS of new customers due to the top runs. I see J. screaming for help from the shop because he can no longer find the door because of the pile of scooters/parts. I see Caine units responding. I see them finding the sack a customer left in the seat pan. I see J. posting from Joeliet looking for Bond Dollars.
Slow that bike down and avoid going to prison. Best too you J.

Well, it sounds like about 4 or 5 of my local buddies are going to be taking their scooters out. I'd like to do some last minute race prep on my ride. This should be fun! I've never been to Piedmont Dragway before so I'm not 100% sure what to expect. Guess we'll see.

So I'm not seeing any costs for entering the races or any way to find that stuff out on their website. Got any ideas?

I believe I was told $15 to enter. I'll call and ask though, to be sure.

Yeah, the $15 is for general admission. I should have re-read the flyer. :P I'm waiting on a phone call to see how much it is to actually race.

When I called to inquire about the race, the gentleman on the phone says "We'll see how many folks want to participate, and we'll do what it takes to make ya'll happy, ok? We want to make sure you guys have a good time!"

It sounds interesting!

This was fun! Lots and lots of Hayabusas there, but the people running the track gave us our spaces and let us have our runs. I'd have to count my slips to know how many times I went, but I want to say it was probably close to 16 times. The Kymco held up well, none of us scooter guys had any breakdowns and we had a good time!

I have everyone's best times written down, and I do have a time slip but have to snap a photo of it and post it up. DirtyD did manage to get my best run on video!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiNoSziZ ... ture=g-upl

The track is actually quite nice, and the managers seem like they're really excited to see more of our tuned scooters down there!

I will post up photos when I get the chance. Gotta resize them all and upload.

It's funny, looking at the video. I'm going to put my front body plastics on the scooter and find something more "aerodynamic" to do with my legs. Heh.
