Yasuni Z restrictions

Postby Areomyst » Thu Sep 01, 2016 8:05 am

Hello scooter friends!

I recently got the opportunity to install a Yasuni Z (with e-pass) on a Malaguti F12 scooter. This was replacing an old beat-up Turbokit exhaust... Upon inspection, I found a couple of restrictions in the exhaust and wanted to share them with anyone who may be curious!

The first restriction, is what you would typically find in many exhausts - a cone that reduces the diameter of the header pipe. It is easily removed with a dremel or similar cutting tool.

The second restriction is located in the silencer, and really seems to put a dampening on both exhaust flow, and sound... Check out the photos! The second restriction was removed with a cut-off wheel as it was easier that way.
