ok, need a little help....

Postby buddylove8582 » Thu Oct 23, 2014 4:55 pm

My scooter has over 9,000 miles. i bought a new battery for my bike, as the old one kicked the bucket from lack of use. So, after buying a new battery, and having it tested at the store to indeed make sure it works, i brought it home and hooked it up....however, i go to turn the ignition, and when i do so, none of the needles move. I just put gas in it, so the tank has at least a little bit of gas in it.....I've also checked the connections, scrubbed what rust i could from the connectors, i even did an initial charge on the battery as the instructions suggested i do (i dont know why they did that since its brand new, but i figure follow every step to the letter). Yet, I still have no needles moving, so i dont know what the issue is, and i cant really afford to take it to a shop to get it looked at, as im on a fixed income. Can anyone help?
